If you’d told me a few years ago that WBOC TV-16 would buy a radio station, select the perfect music format, and ask me to be an on-air talent, I would have said “Shut Up!” But that’s just what they did.
Coming back home to WBOC is amazing to me. Back in 2008, the great people here hired me as a creative services producer. During that time, I shot a lot of commercials all over Delmarva and learned so much more about this beautiful place than I could have any other way, and made life-long friends. After a little more than four years of creating commercials, I ventured out into the world of marketing. Now I’m back at WBOC and couldn’t be happier. Hanging out with my friends on the air from 7pm to midnight on WBOC 102.5 FM is perfect.
Recording voice over is something else I enjoy. Since 2004, I’ve been the girl next door, the airport gate announcer, the teacher, Super Mario’s wing girl, and more – all while standing in front of a microphone recording commercials and instructional videos from my home studio here on the Shore.
You can also catch me singing with my guitar guru spouse and best friend, Bob Hayman in our band, The Haymans throughout the year – mostly in the summer.
So working at the radio station, recording voice overs, playing music, and spending time with my favorite people (and my two bossy cats) is pretty much how I spend my time – trying to get that exercise thing going too. See you on the air!
