What’s Happening Today – May 2, 2018
Today on DelmarvaLife –
We’re sitting down with Abigail Plyar, who is a remarkable young woman who has a mission to change lives with “Love for Lungs.”
Board member Cathy Spence and Exhibit artist Victoria Mcconnell are here to talk to us about The Fiber Arts Center Of The Eastern Shore. The center celebrates both historic and recent works by artists, crafters, and makers from the Delmarva Peninsula. Theor current exhibit, Adire and More: Hand Dyed Fabric of the Eastern Hemisphere, will be displayed until June 2nd.
The term health really does encompass mind, body, and spirit. That’s the idea behind the “Illuminate the beach” festival. Joining us today to tell us more about it is the spokesperson of the Illuminate Festivals, Judy Buchanan; professional intuitive Carol Pollio; and shamanic practitioner, Athena Allread.
Today we’re seeing beautiful works of Plein Air Art on the Mid South audio stage! Next month is the Annual Plein Air Golf Tournament and Artist Showcase In Cambridge. We’re getting a preview of it today!
We’re making art in the Kirby and Holloway Kitchen, too. Steve Potts with Bill’s Prime Seafood and Steaks in Chincoteague is here, showing us how to make Cioppino!
