Today on DelmarvaLife –
Lisa and Corey are testing their Royal Wedding knowledge. As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare to wed this weekend, Etiquette Expert Grace Foxwell Murdock is going to find out how much they know their Royal Wedding etiquette.
Dustin And Rachel Parker, with the Parker Group at Linda Vista and the Executive Director of Sussex County Habitat for Humanity, Kevin Gilmore are here to tell us about their latest collaboration! They’ve partnered together to expand Habitat for Humanity‘s mission to give back. Throughout the year, The Parker Group will donate a portion of the proceeds from every home sold to Habitat for Humanity.
We’re also talking about unnecessary trips to the ER. The Vice President of Population Health At Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Kathryn Fiddler and PRMC’s Director Of Emergency and Trauma Services, Sarah Arnett join us in the studio to tell us which circumstances warrant an ER trip and which ones warrant a trip to urgent care. We’re also talking to Washington High School Student, Brandon Wagner so he can explain a project that he is working on with his fellow classmates. The project addresses the issue of the amount time it takes for Maryland patients to receive proper care and treatment in an average emergency room.
Hunter Hudson is an example of a young person on Delmarva who has unfortunately lost their life too soon. While Hunter’s family holds on to the good times, they’re also using his story to help others by creating a scholarship fund in his honor. There is also a motorcycle ride to raise funds for the scholarship.
