Bavarian Bakery Co-Owners Andy Janke and Monika Urquhart say authenticity is key when running the Bavarian Bakery on South Dupont Highway in Dover.
Monika and Andy are especially busy this time of year, filling pastry orders for holiday parties.
“You know what it’s like no office party is too small or too big for us we cater pastries, Monika says, “We cater sandwich platters we cater cheese platters like we said. You know no office party is too small or too big so whatever you like please stop on by come see us.”
From homemade pies to holiday cakes, Monika says any of their pastries will be sure to steal the show. I got a chance to visit the bakery and see what goes into creating their well-known treats. Andy showed me the ropes and taught me that baking in large quantities is not exactly a “cakewalk.” However, it was so fun to learn just what makes these products so one-of-a-kind!
