Christmas Celebrations in Crisfield
December 7, 2018 @ 6:30 pm
On December 7th at 6:30 pm, celebrate Christmas in Crisfield in the best
waterfront small town style with a parade from Crisfield City Hall, 319 W
Main Street, to the Depot at the City Dock, followed by the lighting of the
crab pot Christmas Tree.
December 8th, celebrate A Miracle on 10th Street with pictures with Santa
in Santa’s Village, train rides, face painting, a Christmas decorating
contest, live entertainment, food vendors, and Christmas shopping with
locally made arts and crafts. Both events are sponsored by the Crisfield
Chamber of Commerce and chaired by former councilman Erik Emely.
Local stores are participating in celebrating the parade. Tim & Doris’s, 930
W Main St, will serve hot chocolate. The Bay Gift Vault, 952 West Main
Street, will be open during the tree lighting with hot drinks for all and free
entry forms for a $200 gift basket drawing. The Weathered Porch, 1104 W
Main Street, will be also during the Christmas Parade and will be serving
refreshments. The famous Crisfield Crab Pot Christmas Tree is sponsored
by Eddie Heath’s Crab Pots. Businesses on the parade route are
encouraged to decorate to show off our town’s Christmas spirit.
Featured in the parade will be Handy’s Softshell, the Salisbury Rollergirls,
Linton’s Seafood, and many other local favorites. The rain date for this
event is the same time on December 8th. Parade participants for the
parade should enter by contacting the Crisfield Chamber at 410-968-2500.
Also on December 8th from 9 am to 1 pm as a part of Miracle on 10th
Street, visit Santa’s Shopping Village at the Crisfield Fire Hall, 600 W Main
Street. Shop local crafters, vendors, bakers and direct sales for one of a
kind gifts. See you in Crisfield!
