10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s

On Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Greenwood Library, Elizabeth Phillips from the Alzheimer’s Association will present an education program on what to watch for in yourself and others in regards to Alzheimer’s. This disease causes changes in memory, thinking and behavior that are not normal aging. Topics covered will include: the difference between normal aging and Alzheimer’s, common warning signs, the importance of early detection and the benefits of diagnosis, next steps and expectations for the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer’s Association resources. Effective July 28, 2021, volunteers and participants of Association in-person events must follow CDC recommendations to wear masks and social distance at all indoor gatherings.
