Today on DelmarvaLife:
We’re talking spit. Your saliva can say a lot about your health. The experts at Delmarva Dental Services run down the benefits of saliva testing, and even give Sean a test of his own.
Drugs have the power to turn lives upside down, but the team at Chesapeake Treatment Services works to help a user break that cycle of addiction. Director of Operations, Melissa Bishop, stops by to give us an overview of the program. She also has a message for those who feel hopeless: don’t stop trying.
The Jefferson Awards are a way to honor ordinary people who do extraordinary things, without expectation of recognition. WBOC is one of more than 150 media partners that participates in the Jefferson Awards. WBOC Web Editor, Kye Parsons, along with the 2013 Jefferson Award National Nominee, Clifton Harcum, join us to explain why the Jefferson Awards are so important. You can nominate someone until October 10th.
We also announce another winner in our Sesame Street Live! giveaway. One lucky viewer will win a family four pack of tickets to see “Elmo Makes Music” at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center on Wednesday, October 12th.
Enjoy the show!
