There’s just nothing like the feeling of being happy! There’s an upcoming event that will, no doubt, put a smile on your face. It’s called The Happiness Project Music Festival. Co-Founder Jason Burlew stops by to tell us what to expect at the event on Saturday, July 9, which benefits mental health awareness and the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. We’re also getting a musical preview of The Happiness Project Music Festival. Jocelyn Faro and Christopher Windebank of “Jocelyn Faro & The Ragazzi“ will take the stage in Historic Studio D for the first time!
This weekend marks the annual “Juneteenth” celebration all over the country. “Juneteenth” commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States. Sean stops by Easton where they’re gearing up for the annual celebration. He’ll give us a preview.
We’re also previewing Red, White and BOOM in Downtown Salisbury. Food, fireworks and fun – you can find it all at the annual Fourth of July celebration. This year, 102.5 WBOC-FM will also be a part of the celebration. Stay tuned to find out how!
We are happy to welcome Chef Sharliena Berry, owner of Karmic Creation Cakes/Catering, to the DelmarvaLife Kitchen for the first time. She’s making a bottomless pizza. Here is Sharliena’s recipe:
Bottomless Pizza Crust
- 1 8 oz. Container of whipped Cream Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cups of Fresh Parmesan Cheese + approx 3 tbs for bottom of pan
- 1 tbs of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbs of oat flour (Optional)
- Nonstick Cooking Spray
In a bowl or mixer combine Cream Cheese and eggs, then add the remainder of the ingredients and mix until combined.
Spray 10-12 inch pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray, Sprinkle the bottom of the pan with Parmesan cheese, then put in oven @ 350 until crisp and light brown. Allow it to cool then add the cream cheese mixture to the pan and bake until the edges are slightly brown about 8-10 minutes. Allow the crust to cool. Add pizza sauce and your favorite toppings, put the pizza back in the oven until cheese is melted. Then Enjoy!
