In just a few days, you’ll start seeing everything turn pink. The goal is to raise awareness of breast cancer, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For those fighting the disease, it is so much more than just a color. We learn about how the group, Women Supporting Women, help in that fight.
As the weather gets cooler, you may be thinking less and less about going swimming in the ocean, but that’s no reason to hang up the suit for the season. In fact, when you see Salisbury’s newest indoor pool, you’ll be blowing up those water wings. The Henson Family YMCA opened a new warm water pool at the end of July. DelmarvaLife’s Katie Zarrilli takes us there.
Pet cats have a reputation for being aloof, but research at Oregon State University suggest most cats emotionally bond with their caregivers the same way children and dogs do. There are three cats and three dogs who would love to connect with you in Pet Connect.
Singer/songwriter Ben Monteith hails from Scotland, but spends a lot of time on Delmarva. He received international attention when a video of him singing went viral with more than 50 million views. We were fortunate enough to get him to perform on the Mid South Audio Stage.
