Today on DelmarvaLife –
Nearly nine percent of people in the US are living with Diabetes, and for many of them, the disease can be controlled, so they can avoid some of the complications and other conditions that come along with it. November is Diabetes Awareness Month. We talk with RN and Certified Diabetes Educator with PRMC, Kelly Birch about the resources available for people with Diabetes and an upcoming event called, “Diabetes, Don’t Let the Silence Fool You.” It’s Monday, November 11th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at PRMC’s Hollowell Conference Center. Endocrinologist Dr. Jack Snitzer will speak.
The work is done and the intersection of Church Street and Route 13 in Salisbury is given new life. We sit down with local artist Paul “Sketch” Boyd ahead of the official ribbon cutting on Tuesday.
It’s Friday and that means it’s furry friend day. We introduce you to super sweet faces that you might just want to take home with Pet Connect.
We are in the DelmarvaLife Kitchen with Scott Heise, owner of Nick’s House of Ribs. We learn how to prepare perfect ribs at home.
You are going to want to remember the name “October Rose.” The duo is making waves on the country music scene, and we have them on the Mid South Audio Stage.
Nominations are open in Spicer Brothers Construction’s Delmarva’s Neediest Roof Contest. They’re giving away two roofs this year. You can nominate someone through Sunday, October 27th. Find more information, here.
