Today on DelmarvaLife –
We first met Liz Marks of Easton more than a year after a serious car accident nearly took her life. She crashed into the back of a truck while looking at a text. Since that accident, she has had countless surgeries and lives with blindness in one eye and brain damage. Liz’s mother, Betty Shaw has written a book about the accident called, “One Simple Text..The Liz Marks Story.” Liz and Betty join us to talk about the book and their mission to make sure no one is tempted to pick up the phone while driving.
