“A dream come true” in Denton … Choptank Community Health recently finished replacing its former Denton Medical Center. The health center is not only bigger and better equipped, but now includes medical, dental, and behavioral health care. The goal is to reach more and more members of the Caroline County community. Katie got a chance to check out the new place.
We’re in the DelmarvaLife Kitchen making “Oysters Rock Hall,” and learning about a Hometown Holiday Celebration” in Rock Hall. It takes place Saturday, November 30th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Main Street. It’s a free event, at which you’ll find carriage rides and so much more. The recipe for “Oysters Rock Hall” is below. Oysters Rock Hall
Fresh shucked oysters on the half shell
Bacon cut into 2 inch strips
American cheese cut into 2 inch strips
Garlic powder
Black pepper
J and O seasoning
Place the bacon on the oyster, sprinkle with the seasonings, place in broiler on 2nd to top rack. Broil until bacon is almost crispy. Take out of oven, place cheese on top, put back in broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
