Today on DelmarvaLife:
We get all kinds of storms on Delmarva. We are focusing on all things storm related in our show today.
It wouldn’t be a storm show without WBOC Chief Meteorologist Dan Satterfield stopping by to talk about upcoming winter weather.
Jesse Scott with Rommel’s Ace Hardware has ten easy things you can do to get your home ready for the storm before it even gets here.
With winter coming, heating your home is very important. Sean stopped by Survival Products in Salisbury and learned about a few options that will have you comfy and cozy in no time – and may even score you some cash.
While preparing your home for winter, you have to take into consideration the inside and outside. Sean recently spent some time at Spicer Brothers Construction and Brian Spicer told him about all the things to look for when checking your home on the outside.
It’s very common during storms that the lights go out. Sean is here to teach us a game to play while the lights are out to keep the whole family occupied – flashlight charades.
Chef Johnny Brooks from the Crabcake Factory is making a seafood gumbo. Bartender Micah Reese is also teaching us how to make a well-known Crabcake Factory Bloody Mary with lump crab meat and shrimp on top.
