Now that Halloween is over, do you have a ton of candy corn laying around? We found a few recipes online so you can put that extra candy corn to use.
Sean stops by the Rehoboth Beach Public Library to learn how a few common household ingredients can be used to clean your home in an enviromentally friendly and economically smart way. The Rehoboth Beach Public Library will be hosting a class covering the same topic called Clean, Green and Thrifty on Monday, November 14th. - Chef Boyardee Canned Pasta
- Deodorant
- Disposable Razors

- Ramen Noodles brick
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Instant Oatmeal

Local runner, Sara Headrick, will be competing in the New York City Marathon this Sunday. She joins us on the couches to talk about her love for running and how she qualified for the marathon. Good luck Sara!
Chef Kevin Reading from Brick Works Brewing and Eats is making cider glazed pumpkin gnocchi in the DelmarvaLife kitchen today!
Cider Glazin’ Pumpkin Gnocchi
with Sautéed Apples, Sage, & Walnut
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Pumpkin
4 Ounces Butter
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Cups Flour
Dry Sage
Porcini Powder
Cinnamon
Clove
All Spice
Nutmeg
1 Cup Fresh Parmesan
Ingredients for Dish
Brown Butter
Pumpkin Gnocchi
Walnuts
Apple
Duck Confit
Fifer’s Cider
Sage
Salt & Pepper
Shaved Moody Blue Cheese
Pomegranate Seeds
In a pot bring first four Ingredients to a simmer.
Add flour and over low heat mix until it forms a dough. Add remaining Ingredients.
For the dish, Brown Butter, add Gnocchi, let brown. Add Duck Confit. Add Apples and Walnuts.
Deglaze with Cider. Mount with Sage and Butter. Garnish with Moody Blue Cheese and Pomegranate Seeds.
