Today on DelmarvaLife:
The Eastern Shore of Maryland alone has five coastal bays behind Ocean City and Assateague Island. The Maryland Coastal Bays Program aims at keeping a perfect balance between man and nature when it comes to wildlife out on and around those waters. We’ll take a tour of one coastal bay and find out how many organizations and agencies are working together to keep both man and wildlife happy. It will be easy to see why these coastal bays are considered “Delmarva Treasures.”
Gardening expert Ginny Rosenkranz stops by today. She’s showing off some beautiful annuals she picked up from Bennett Farms Gift & Garden Center. Ginny will tell us about sun and shade-loving flowers. She’ll also tell us how we can get our flowers to keep their beautiful blooms all summer long.
Sunglasses are not only a fashion statement, but they also play a huge role in protecting our eyes. Our friends from Chesapeake Eye Center tell us about the importance and versatility of shades.
We get another “Pupdate” on the dogs that were recently rescued from a property in Eden. Remember Ariel? Lisa fell in love with her when she visited us in Historic Studio D. Wait ’til you hear what Ariel is up to today!
We’ll also introduce you to several other cats and dogs on Delmarva that would love to find a “furever” home.
We’re happy to welcome musician Bryan Scar to the DelmarvaLife stage for the first time! Bryan performs two original songs for us today: “Colorado Bound” and “When I’m Walkn.'”
