What’s Happening Today – June 27, 2016
Today on DelmarvaLife:
We are celebrating 900 shows! Thank you to Cake Art, which supplied a beautiful cake to help us celebrate. Here’s to many more!
Studies show one in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime, while one in 67 will develop ovarian cancer. Today, we’re learning about “Bright Pink,” a group of women on a mission to save lives by empowering others to live proactively.
We are honored to welcome Second Assistant Captain of the Snow Hill Fire Department, Eddie Carman, to Historic Studio D. Eddie will share the story of how he was able to overcome prediabetes. He’ll also make a recipe that can help others get on the past to a healthy lifestyle, too: Italian Pasta Skillet.
Lieutenant Tim Robinson, of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, drops in with another batch of guys and gals, he says, is on the run from law enforcement. He’ll share with us the newest list of fugitives in our “Most Wanted Monday.”
We’re also learning more about the Salisbury Jaycees today. Their main mission is to serve. Find out how you can get involved and help improve the lives of others on Delmarva, too.
Hope you enjoy the show!
