What’s Happening Today – June 20, 2018
Today on DelmarvaLife:
If you’re looking to get into some fun this weekend, then today’s show is for you. Clay-a-Palooza takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Ocean City Center for the Arts. It’s a clay-filled art festival, and there’s something for everyone. The event will also feature the kick off to the Empty Bowl Project. It’s a campaign that, with help from Diakonia, is designed to fight hunger on Delmarva. We’ll learn more about it, and get more details on some of the events that are scheduled for this weekend.
There will also be plenty to do on Saturday at the Delmarvalous Festival, put on by the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University. The Delmarvalous Festival is an event to celebrate local traditions on Delmarva. It’s a free event that, again, will offer something for everyone in the family. The Delmarvalous Festival takes place on Saturday, June 23 at the Ward Museum in Salisbury. If you’d like more information, call 410-742-4988, ext. 120.
Many homeowners get excited, and overwhelmed, when it comes to picking out new cabinets and counter tops. It seems like with each passing day, what’s hot and what’s not, changes. We’re off to Atlantic Millwork and Cabinetry in Lewes to talk trends, and find out how you can achieve the look you’ve always dreamed of, with expert advice every step of the way.
When it comes to fresh, authentic food, you’ll find expertise at the Piazza Italian Market in Easton. It’s been described as “Italy in Easton,” and with one step in the door, it’ll be easy to see why. We’ll take you there, and get a lesson on how to cut a cheese wheel.

Nashville Producer with Clifford Keith
We are on the Mid South Audio Stage with the Clifford Keith Band. They just recorded a full-length album in Nashville, with deep Delmarva roots. It’s called “Coastal Highway.” The Clifford Keith Band will perform two titles from that album today, “Give Me a Beach Somewhere,” and “Mine”.
