Today on DelmarvaLife:
Ready, set, take off! This show’s about to take flight – just like the aircraft this weekend at the OC Air Show. We get a preview of who’s coming to town (including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels!), and we’ll tell you how to get the hottest seat in the house. Here’s a hint – they’re everywhere!
The day to celebrate dad is quickly approaching. Not sure what to get him? Problem solved. We’re picking the brains of two dads on Delmarva – one with lots of experience, and the other who is just getting used to his new role. We’ll check in with 102-5 WBOC‘s Corey Phoebus, who spent some time at Vernon Powell, all in an effort to put a smile on your dad’s face this Sunday.
Dad probably wouldn’t mind retiring, but only if his nest egg is where it needs to be. We visit CFS: Comprehensive Financial Solutions in Salisbury, where the team there can help with retirement planning (and so much more.) And get this – it doesn’t have to be as complicated as you might think.
‘Tis the season for busting out the bike! Before you get your wheels spinning, though, you should consider making a few adjustments. We’ll spend some time with Buz Carragher, the owner of Salisbury Cycle & Fitness, to find out what you need to know to stay safe on the road.
We’re in the DelmarvaLife Kitchen with Chef Andrew Fares from Fins Ale House & Raw Bar in Berlin. On the menu today – Summer Lobster Wontons (recipe below.) We’ll also hear how coming out and enjoying a great meal, can help protect Delmarva’s beautiful waterways. It’s all thanks to “Dine & Donate” benefiting the Assateague Coastal Trust.
