The great granddaughter of Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie I is visiting Salisbury to promote her book, “It Was Only Yesterday…” Hannah Mariam Meherete-Selassie will be giving a lecture at Salisbury University on Wednesday, July 10th and then make an appearance at Pemberton Coffee House Thursday, July 11th. We learn more about the woman who was born into royalty and then exiled from her country during a violent uprising.
Every Fiber Coffee opened up in Seaford a little more than a month ago. The owner says it’s about so much more than java and pastries, it’s about connecting community. DelmarvaLife’s Katie Zarrilli pays a visit to see what’s brewing.
The 25th Annual Nanticoke Riverfest is this weekend.
