What’s Happening Today – July 31, 2017
Today on DelmarvaLife:
Gardening Expert, Ginny Rosenkranz from the University of Maryland Extension Office, joins us in the studio to show off some plants that thrive in the heat and humidity.
If you take a step outside and just look around, you’ll realize that Delmarva is a gorgeous place to live. There’s an opportunity coming up where you can see that Delmarva beauty in art form. The “Art in Nature Photo Festival” is August 11-13 at the Ward Museum. Shaina Adkins, director of special events at the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art joins us to tell us more. The competition is open to professional, amateur, and youth photographers. To learn more, go here.
Lynn Matava with “The Country Tart” joins us in the DelmarvaLife kitchen to make homemade corn tortillas. It’s a pretty simple recipe and procedure. She also brought along all the fixin’s, including pickled onions!
And to start our week off, as well as end July, on a good note we are giving away yet another prize as part of our “Summer Guide Giveaway”. Will you be ending your day and starting August as a winner? There’s only one way to find out, watch DelmarvaLife tonight at five.
