Today on DelmarvaLife –
Pets really are a part of the family, and business owner Sara England knows that all too well. For years, she traveled to dog shows all around the country to hone her painting skills. She finally decided to settle down in Rehoboth Beach, where she makes custom illustrations and has them printed on all sorts of gifts. Her business is called The Ruff Life By Sara England Designs. DelmarvaLife’s Sydney Whitfield caught up with her to learn more.
There are plenty of paws that need help across Delmarva. Run For The Paws, now in its tenth year, provides that help one foot at a time. All proceeds raised at the event will go directly to caring for and finding homes for local shelter pets. There will also be a post party at Starboard Restaurant! Joining us to talk about the event is animal foster mom, Cheryl Crowe. She has all the details and one of her fluffy friends joining her on the DelmarvaLife couches. The event is August 5 beginning at 8 am in Dewey Beach.
We’re also learning how one woman’s fun music lyrics are being used to spread a message about love and inclusion. Her name is Amy Spampinato and her family is known as “The Pretty Crazies.” Amy and her daughters join us on the show to talk about their latest efforts which, of course, include her inspirational music.
If you’d like to catch one of their performances, here’s a look at some of their upcoming dates:
Saturday, August 4th, 2018
