What’s Happening Today – July 18, 2016
Today on DelmarvaLife:
We think Jimmy may have found a new calling— a chauffeur! In the third edition of ‘Driving with Docs,‘ Jimmy spends some time with Dr. Tejal Dharia, an outpatient doctor at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, who specializes in geriatrics. While driving to work, Jimmy learned the Doc got into geriatric medicine because she felt the age group was neglected when it came to care.
Next up, Beverly White from Peninsula Home Care joins Jimmy and Lisa in the studio to talk about planning for the future. Beverly talks to us about starting the aging process, things to consider when it comes to heath and aging, in-home care options, costs and more.
WBOC’s Director of Information Technology, Greg Gay, speaks to Jimmy and Lisa about various gadgets and what information can be taken from those gadgets once they are out of our hands. Greg suggests deleting pictures, phone numbers and personal information, and shares other tips about security.
It’s that time of the week again. Lieutenant Tim Robinson with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office joins Jimmy and Lisa for ‘Most Wanted Monday.‘ Tim gives us an update on those who are still wanted and informs us of three suspects who have been caught.
In this episode of DelmarvaLife, Sean hits the Ocean City boardwalk with the inaugural ‘Difficult Delmarva Words’ segment. During this segment, Sean spends time with tourists, asking them how they would pronounce some commonly mispronounced towns around Worcester County.
