Today on DelmarvaLife:
It’s National Ice Cream Day! A joint resolution signed by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 established July as National Ice Cream Month and July 15 as National Ice Cream Day. Now, National Ice Cream Day is the third Sunday in July each year.
In today’s “What’s Appening” segment, we talk about the latest craze in the digital world – Pokemon Go. Director of Digital Media, Ethan Holland joins us, as well as DelmarvaLife Director Alan Fox, who we’re dubbing a “Pokemon Go Pro.” Ethan and Alan explain the game and talk about how it has taken off in such a short amount of time.
Sean visits Baywater Animal Rescue to show up some furry friends up for adoption in today’s Pet Connect. Pet Expert Linda Lugo also stops by the studio to answers viewer questions.
Brandy and Caroline Dunn bring bunnies in the studio to talk about how the heat is affecting them this time of year. They also talk about breeds of bunnies, how to care for them, and which bunnies make great pets and which do not.
Communication and Public Relations Manager with The Freeman Stage, Alyson Cunningham, and Creative and Digital Media Manager, Doug Phillips, join us in the studio to talk about events at The Freeman Stage. Alyson and Doug talk about popular events they offer such as Locals Under the Lights. It’s a free “bring your own chair” event and such a neat experience.
The 15 String Band is actually performing this evening at The Freeman Stage. We get a preview of what you will be listening to tonight if you attend the Locals Under the Lights event.
