What’s Happening Today – Jan. 23, 2018
Today on DelmarvaLife –
The Clear Space Theatre Company in Rehoboth Beach has a reputation for producing shows that leave audiences coming back for more, and we are happy to hear that they are at it again. We sit down with the theatre’s executive director, Wesley Paulson, to hear more about an upcoming play, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. We’re told its a play that will leave the crowds guessing until the end. Click here for more information!
We’re also talking about a show that celebrates the talent of artist Patrick Henry. The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University curator and folklorist, Jackson Medel; and education director, Aurelio Giannitti are teaching us more about the Patrick Henry Exhibit. We’ll learn about Patrick Henry’s legacy and how you can see his work for yourself.
Sydney’s on her way to learn about a famous Bathtub in Berlin! She speaks with Mayor Gee Williams and the Berlin Maryland Chamber of Commerce to find out how this display not only won several races in the Berlin Bathtub Races, but how it’s impacting the community through shoe donations.
We’re focusing on your riding wardrobe. Sometimes its hot, cold, rainy and windy. However, when riding a bike, all you know is that you just want to be comfortable! Cory checks in with the manager of Salisbury Cycle, Rory Payne to teach you how you can make that happen.
Seaford’s own Ged Pearson is a talented musician here on Delmarva. Today he’s on the Mid South Audio stage, as he gears up for a huge performance at Carnegie Hall.
