If you work construction or around big machinery, odds are you wear work shoes. We’re going to learn a bit about the history of the Red Wing, a company that has been making work shoes for more than a hundred years. DelmarvaLife’s Sydney Whitfield stopped by to see just how the company is stepping up to serve Delmarva.

We’re also cooking with personal chef Deborah Lee Walker. She’s showing us how to make a shrimp salad, Eastern Shore-style.
(Eastern Shore Style)
1-pound deveined shrimp (16/20 count)
¼ sweet onion, finely chopped
¼ tender celery, finely chopped
1/3 cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1. Steam shrimp just until it turns opaque. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Remove shells and tail. Freeze shells for future seafood stock (optional).
2. Using paper towels, squeeze the natural juice out of the onions and celery.
3. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving
