The doc is in the house! Chief Informatics Officer and Hospitalist, Chris Snyder, DO, with Peninsula Regional Medical Center, stops by for another round of “Ask the Doc.” He’s our doctor on call for viewer-submitted health questions. On the lineup today, Dr. Snyder discusses bronchitis vs. RSV, shingles, dry skin and flu shots!
We sit down with two Salisbury University students who are hosting a conference to raise awareness about human trafficking. Katherine Shaw and Jaycee Scanlon tell us about the “Human Trafficking Awareness & Protection” conference taking place this Friday at Salisbury University. It’s a free event that will feature guest speakers, self defense demonstrations and more. It’ll take place from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday in SU’s Nanticoke Room.
Mom, Dad – wouldn’t it be a dream come true if you could control the wi-fi in your home by a device, or even by user? Just imagine the possibilities. You don’t have to imagine – that possibility is now a reality, thanks to something called “Xfinity XFI.” DelmarvaLife’s Sydney Whitfield shows us how it works.
Coming together and hosting family and friends for a holiday meal should be fun, but many times, the planning can be too stressful to handle. This year, why not consider hosting those guests in a location with a beautiful setting and delicious food? Suicide Bridge Restaurant in Hurlock wants you to let them do the cooking for your holiday party this year. DelmarvaLife’s Sydney Whitfield explains how it might end up being the party of your life! We’re also in the Kirby & Holloway Kitchen with Suicide Bridge’s Chef Thomas O’Neil. He’ll show us how to put together his Oyster Stew and Lobster Pasta. Recipes are below.
