Today on DelmarvaLife –
We are sharing a love story that’s decades strong, and it all started on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Now, the town of Ocean City is honoring the couple with a key to the city.
Restoring an old school house is the goal of a local nonprofit. It’s located in Woodland Park, just west of Seaford, and will be turned into a museum for the public. Visitors will be able to see what was used in the early 1900s in agricultural communities. DelmarvaLife’s Katie Zarrilli tells us why that’s just the start of it. Click here for more information on the Wooodland Heritage Festival to benefit the school house.
We still have a few weeks of official summer on the books, but it seems like after Labor Day, everyone starts focusing on fall fun. Might we suggest you avoid filling up that fall calendar until you check out Worcester County Recreation and Parks programs and events. 102.5, WBOC’s Corey Phoebus got a look at what they’re offering.
Last year we had local author Dana Phipps on the show. Her book, “Murder in Ocean Pines” was a real page turner. She’s back with another book called, “Pursuit in Ocean Pines.”
Easton’s Black Dog Alley is back on the Mid South Audio Stage today. We’ll hear two original songs from the band that is coming off a very busy summer.
We have another group of adorable homeless pets that are waiting for you to rescue them in today’s Pet Connect.
