Pastor Darrel Morris, with the Lifeway Church of God talks about the event on Saturday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that has everything from important medical screenings, to silent auctions and a yard sale.
Nearly 700,000 meals were delivered to Sussex County seniors last year, thanks to Meals on Wheels Delaware. The annual Sip and Savor event is a major fund raiser for the group. Tracey Miller is a volunteer with Meals on Wheels Delaware and tells us what we can expect at this year’s event taking place Friday, September 6th at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino.

Code Purple Sussex County is training session for people who want to volunteer this winter. Volunteers will learn de-escalation techniques when working with vulnerable populations. The training sessions are in October. Click here for more information.
