Nearly 700,000 meals were delivered to Sussex County seniors last year, thanks to Meals on Wheels Delaware. The annual Sip and Savor event is a major fund raiser for the group. Tracey Miller is a volunteer with Meals on Wheels Delaware and tells us what we can expect at this year’s event taking place Friday, September 6th at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino.
We are joined in the DelmarvaLife Kitchen by a restaurant that will be participating in Meals on Wheels Delaware’s Sip and Savor Event. Jeff Sripongsai and Sarah Ekpradit from Chaiyo Dover Suishi and Thai show DelmarvaLife’s Katie Zarrilli how to roll sushi.
