We welcome back to Historic Studio D, Author Scott T. Phillips. In May 2016, Scott told us about his first book, “The Dark Side of Death” and today he tells us about the sequel to that book. The first book mentioned many Delaware landmarks, but his second book, “The Dark Side of Honor,” takes us deep into the jungles of Belize. Scott has a strong background in law enforcement and that’s why he is pretty comfortable writing about this topic.
There’s a real need for school supplies for children on Delmarva. Imagine a child walking into a classroom with nothing – no paper, no pens, no book bag. It happens all the time on Delmarva, so our next Rising Tide event will work to meet that need. Rising Tide is a collaborative effort between WBOC and Sherwood Automotive to help meet the needs of non-profit agencies on Delmarva. We’ll explain how you can lend a hand to help our local students.
The Blues Reincarnation Project makes their debut on the Mid South Audio Stage. They’re performing “Money Talks” and “Could Have Been Me.” Their goal is to bring the blues back to the younger generation. Be sure to tune in at 5 pm!
