What’s Happening Today – Aug. 28, 2017
Today on DelmarvaLife:
Author Josephine Pasquarello joins us in the studio today to tell us about her book, “Love and Loyalty” and how it is based on a true story – her own story. A father of twelve children murdered as a result of mob violence and a single mother forced to raise the large family in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Josephine being one of those children of course and years later, she felt she needed to share her story and decided to write a book about it. Purchase “Love and Loyalty” here.
Lt. Tim Robinson with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has a new list of most wanted for us. See today’s Most Wanted Monday here.
We all have many valuables in our home – important documents, family heirlooms, jewelry, firearms. A safe can help you protect those items. 102.5 WBOC’s Corey Phoebus recently took a trip to Laurel, Del. and stopped by Liberty Safes of Delaware and found out that safes come in all shapes and sizes and you can find one that suits your specific needs.
Many people in the Seaford, Del. area are talking non-stop about Dona Maria’s Pupuseria and the Salvadorian food they’re serving there. So we sent Sydney Whitfield to go check it out and learn why Dona Maria’s story fits the bill of the “American dream.”
Last month, Corey shared a few life hacks with us. After that show, many viewers sent in their own life hacks and we share them with you today.
