19-year-old Hunter Hudson of Ocean City lost his life too soon. One morning last March, Hunter simply did not wake up from his sleep. While the family makes an effort to heal from such an incredible loss, they’re also making an effort to honor Hunter’s legacy. Hunter’s uncle, Kevin, joins us in Historic Studio D today to share Hunter’s story with us and talk about the Hunter James Hudson Scholarship. There is also a motorcycle ride to raise funds for the scholarship on May 6. Motorcyclists will meet at former OC Harley Davidson and the ride leaves at 11 am. The Kindness Bus is passing through Delmarva this week. The Kindness Bus is spreading a powerful message. Owner of the bus Bob Votruba and the “kindness queen,” Grace Foxwell Murdock, joins us in the studio today, along with Bogart the Boston Terrier. Bob bought a bus and had about 60 family members and friends help paint the bus with kindness quotes and it began a 10-year journey to campuses across the county in hopes to convince as many people as he could about this much-needed movement for this world. The bus is part of the “One Million Acts of Kindness” campaign which is a goal for each person to individually perform one million acts of kindness in their life.
