The 2019 Walkable Bikeable Delaware Summit is next weekend. The goal of the summit is to learn directly from leading Dutch experts on cycling about practical ideas and solutions that could be used in Delaware.
Through the years, we have shared with you Wyatt Shipe’s story. He was born in July 2015 and all signs indicated he would be a healthy baby but, as soon as he was born, doctors knew something was wrong. It was a congenital heart defect. After open heart surgery, and a brave fight, Wyatt’s battle ended just six weeks later. Since then, a group of warriors, led by Wyatt’s mom, Jen, have come together to raise awareness of congenital heart disease. Jen talks about how you can help Wyatt’s Warriors with a 5K Run/Walk Saturday, May 4th at WinterPlace Park in Salisbury.
