What’s Happening Today – April 16, 2018
Today on DelmarvaLife:
We are also getting a lesson in self-defense. In this day and age, you just never know where or when you could be face-to-face with danger. Today, we’re making sure you’re prepared. Owner of the Delaware Self-Defense Academy, Professor Ronnie Wuest and 102.5 WBOC’s Corey Phoebus give us a demonstration.
Hundreds of people are expected to step out and step up to raise awareness of the ninth leading cause of death in the United States. The 10th Annual Southern Delaware Kidney Walk is coming up. We learn more about how an event like this really does make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease and how you can help too. The walk is Sunday, April 29 at Cape Henlopen State Park. Check in begins at 10 am and the walk starts at 11 am.
Captain Babe Wilson of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is stepping in for Lt. Tim Robinson for a few weeks. He joins us in Historic Studio D to show us who you should be on the lookout for this week. Check out the Most Wanted list here.
