OC Fishing Pier History and Jolly Roger – Friday, May 8, 2015
Jolly Roger has been entertaining families for over 50 years. Dean Langrall, Director of Sales and Marketing, says that he is ready for Springfest because it is the official start of the season. The original park sits on 34.5 acres of land between 28th St. and 32nd St. Jolly Roger has rides, roller coasters, mini golf, zip lines, and go karts. There is the Jolly Roger Splash Mountain Water Park as well to help you cool off when it’s really warm outside.
This year, they are excited because they have a brand new, five story tall, kart coaster called ‘The Cyclone.’ The 1,500 ft. long track is made up of 22,320 sq. ft. of lumber. The new go-karts have twice the horse power of the regular go-karts. Dean says they have something for everyone at Jolly Roger.
