Glioblastoma Treatment – Friday, April 10, 2015
Glioblastoma is a large brain tumor usually found in the cerebral hemisphere. The tumors are usually highly malignant and they reproduce fast. Glioblastoma symptoms include pressure headaches, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, weakness, and could impact vision, speech, and memory.
Genny Robinson, 28 year old, was diagnosed with glioblastoma. Genny went to the brain tumor center at Duke University to get a treatment they used for polio. Doctors have told Genny her tumor is shrinking. Genny and her husband are making plans for the future, including children and even grandchildren.
