The New In’s & Out’s of Porch Protection Systems
We tried out the Porch Protection Systems for ourselves to see how it’s done. We talked to Bill Whaley to find out more about Porch Protection Systems.
“It’s a porch accessory, basically, that’s porch covers, that are easily operated up and down,” Bills says. “The basic thing is it allows you to use your porch year-round.”
They are manually operated. You just pull a cord and they roll up, and then you tie it off to a cleat and they stay up. “When they’re rolled up, basically your porch is like it was before we ever came around,” Bill says.
Bill says, if you have nice furniture on your porch that you wouldn’t want to get wet, you can drop the, down and it keeps everything from getting wet. It also performs well with wind, snow, and pollen.
Bill also tells us that keeping it clean is really easy. “The best way to take care of it is just rinse it off with a garden hose when it gets dirty,” he says.
The folks at Porch Protection Systems says it also holds heat surprisingly well. They use a grommet system which does not seal the vertical sides, which means you do not have to be concerned with ventilation issues.
