Onions can also break up bacteria in the mouth, especially if they are eaten raw. Those who drink green tea regularly also have less periodontal disease. Peanuts contain teeth healthy micro nutrients, essential for strong bones and healthy teeth as well.
Lately, there has been a common trend on YouTube for teens to post videos, explaining how to make do-it-yourself braces. Those who are trying to save in the investment of braces are now placing small rubber bands on their teeth, ensuring that this alone will close any gaps in between your teeth.
Professionals say that these can cause painful, and costly problems in the end. Orthodontist, Dr. Steve Astuto, has seen cases where the rubber band works itself into the gums, resulting in teeth loss.
