Button Batteries – PRMC

Button batteries are those little batteries about the size of a nickel, or smaller. According to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, nationwide, more than 80 children have been permanently injured by ingesting button batteries. 15 children have died – most of them within the last 6 years. Apparently, the parents didn’t even know until it was too late.
