Update on Alex Wood of Ocean City, Survivor of Childhood Brain Tumor
A year ago, we met 5-year-old Alex Wood of Ocean City.
Alex and his mom, Amy, told us about a diagnosis that changed their lives. Doctors found a tumor in Alex’s brain. However, that did not slow Alex down one bit and we’re happy to report that Alex is active, happy, and healthy today. In fact, Alex and Amy join us in the studio today to give us an update on Alex and tell us about the Raymond A. Wood Foundation.
The organization supports survivors of childhood brain tumors and their families by providing a means to get devices or therapies that may help with ongoing chronic conditions that result from brain tumor treatment. Listen to Alex’s story here.
