UMES Hospitality Tourism Management Students Prepare a Sauteed Scallop Salad
Veterans Day is coming up this weekend.
UMES Hospitality Tourism Management students have already started planning an event to honor local veterans. On Friday, November 9th UMES, along with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce present A Salute to Our Veterans, A Gourmet Dining Experience. There is a cocktail reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a formal dinner to follow.

Sautéed scallop salad with caramelized pineapple and red peppers garnished with parsley:
· Sautee the scallops with Old Bay seasoning, salt & pepper and olive oil
· Heat up brown sugar until becomes liquid and pour over the raw pineapple.
