The Ocean Pines Doggie Swim made a splash at the Mumford’s Landing pool.
This special recreation & parks event invited dogs and their owners to paddle and play at the pool before it closed for the season. The dogs in attendance came in all shapes and sizes and were able to have the pool to themselves on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Anne O’Connell from the Worcester County Humane Society expressed her gratitude towards Ocean Pines Aquatics and their involvement with this fundraiser.
“We are very grateful for it and it’s a wonderful event, people really love it,” O’Connell said.
The cost of the open to the public event, was $6 per dog with all proceeds benefiting the Worcester County Humane Society. According to Colby Phillips, Aquatics Director at Ocean Pines Aquatics, despite the weather, the group was able to raise $725 for the humane society.
