This local artist has created a holiday design for the Lighthouse Circle in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, which is less than a few blocks away from her shop.

Lowe collaborated with Rehoboth Beach Main Street and the City of Rehoboth Beach to create this design.

The best way Lowe describes her design is simple.

“I just think it references what the town is, what makes a community,” Lowe said. “I err on the side of more minimalist visuals, I think it does it with out over doing it.”

The Rehoboth Beach Mainstreet group thanked Heidi for her concept and creation of the cutouts depicting downtown. Mainstreet gave additional thanks to Mike Peterman, Joe Fuller, Don Richard and Sam Allen with the City of Rehoboth Beach for their help and Steve Prestipino with Apple Electric for providing lighting.

The design Lowe used was made up of recycled signs the town already had.

“The town was so helpful, they cut it all up for me and were so sweet,” Lowe added.

Rehoboth Beach Mainstreet said by working collectively with Lowe, this unique holiday design is able to provide a festive greeting to all who enter downtown Rehoboth Beach.
