“Stop the Bleed” Training at Mardela Middle and High School
The only thing more tragic than a death is a death that could have been prevented.
That’s the idea behind the “Stop the Bleed” training that was held at Mardela Middle and High School. Peninsula Regional Medical Center staff instructed students, teachers and staff members on how to quickly stop blood loss in the case of a traumatic emergency. Zoey Dipasqua, president and founder of the Mardela Middle and High School Red Cross Club, Chris Dipasqua from the PRMC Nursing Services Supervisor’s Office and Mardela Principal, Liza Hastings, are in the studio to tell us more about this program, and how it impacts community members.
