Stomp Out Bullying Event at Mitchell’s Martial Arts
Unfortunately, many kids use bullying to communicate.
Every situation is different, but one thing remains the same – the outcome can be down right devastating, leaving victims broken.
Bob Rovin, the program director at Mitchell’s Martial Arts in Salisbury tells us about how we can “stomp out bullying.”
Rob says on average 250,000 kids are bullied a month and that leads to 160,000 school absences a day. Rob says kids who are bullied suffer from depression and there’s an increased risk of suicide because of bullying.
The event, Stomp Out Bullying, uses martial arts philosophy to help boost self-esteem.
Their event is Saturday, Oct. 1 at Mitchell’s Martial Arts in Salisbury from 10 am – 2 pm. For more information, call 410-341-3333.
