We learn all about “Stand Up For Love,” an awareness event for everyone.
The event is a silent demonstration using posters of what people believe they should stand up for such as bullying, the broken, unity, etc. Participants will stand silently for five hours and hold their signs.
Helen Steele and her daughter Autumn McCabe came up with the idea and wanted to help others stand up for something.
Helen says this is not a political rally, organizational affiliation, or anything religious.
The event is at the Bethany Beach Bandstand on Sat., Oct. 15 starting at 9 am. For more information, call 302-930-5047.
