Solo Art Exhibition, “I’m Fine” Focusing on Body Acceptance, Takes Place March 4 at Gallery 303
Many across the country struggle with poor self image.
But, one local student is trying to change that. Martina Maya-Callen, an artist and senior at Salisbury University, is a self-love activist. She speaks to us about her personal story with body acceptance, a previous art piece she made for National Eating Disorder Awareness week, and her: love your vessel: movement. Martina also touches on how you at home can “love your vessel,” and the solo art exhibition she will be holding later this week titled “I’m Fine.”
The art show will take place Sunday, March 4th from 1 pm – 3 pm at Gallery 303 in Salisbury.
