Autistic Boy Writes Book & Autism in Delaware – Wednesday, April 15, 2015
David Woods, Development Director for Autism Delaware, talks to Jimmy and Lisa about Autism. David said that girls tend to have more severe cases of Autism and that in 2014, 1512 kids with autism are in the school system in Delaware.
Autism Spectrum Disorder:

- Limits everyday function
- Symptoms in early childhood
Early intervention is important to get special supports for the family and children with Autism.
David says that there are 3 No’s to Autism: No known cause, no known cure, and no known medical test.

When: Saturday, April 25
Where: Fox Point State Park, Wilmington Del.
Time: Check-in from 9-11 a.m., Walk begins at 11 a.m.
Water will be available to all walkers and Grotto’s Pizza, Koi on The Go and Troops BBQ will have their food trucks available.
