12-Year-Old Blind Harmonica Player from Md. Uses Music to Define His Life – Blind Wind – Friday, May 15, 2015
Cole started playing music before his first birthday, in fact his mother says the sound of the guitar was what motivated him to move and start pull himself up. His parents propped him up in front of a toy piano. Much to their surprise, he eventually started banging out tunes.
Cole’s instrument of choice is the harmonica. He wears a special belt so that he can have access to all of his harmonicas, depending on what key he needs for a certain song. Blind Wind performs at venues in Worcester and Wicomico Counties.
