Delaware Racing’s Action-packed Weekend
U.S. 13 Dragway‘s first Friday night race of the season will begin tonight. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. and time runs will get underway at 4:30 p.m. U.S. 13 Dragway changes its schedule from Sunday races to Friday night racing from June 10 to Aug. 19.
Delaware International Speedway will host “The Showdown” this Saturday, June 11. S.R. Pete & Sons Super Late Models will battle it out against the Napa Big Block Modified class to see who will come out on top. Last years winner was the S.R. Pete & Sons Super Late Driver, Donald Lingo Jr.

All weekly divisions and the vintage car class will be running Saturday night. Gates Open at 5 p.m. with Heat races starting at 7 p.m.
U.S. 13 Dragway will come back for a rescheduled race this Sunday, June 12. Jerry Ketterman’s Super Bad 8 will return for the Gauranteed $5,000 to win TOP ET, along with the fastest eight door cars and fastest eight dragsters from the TOP ET class. Doorcar vs Doorcar and Dragster vs Dragster will determine the fastest of both. Each winner will then face off to see who is the baddest to take the Super Bad 8 $1,000. Winner of the Overall Bad 8 (Dragster winner vs Doorcar winner) will then be placed into the next round of TOP ET for a chance to take top spot and claim the $5,000.
Bounties have been placed on W.R. Ketterman last years Super Bad 8 Dragster winner and Kevin Banks last years Super Bad 8 Doorcar winner. Take the previous winners out during eliminations and earn yourself an extra $50.
