Today on DelmarvaLife:
Of course during the summer season it is a top priority to stay hydrated, and anyone and everyone can fall prey to dehydration faster than you may think. Those especially susceptible are senior citizens who, much like the rest of us, come sometimes forget the importance of a tall glass (or two) of water. Today on DelmarvaLife we hear from some of the professionals and care takers at Peninsula Home Care on how to ensure that you and your loved ones are doing everything they can to beat the heat and avoid being dehydrated, including how to make sure your home is heat ready.
From educating your family about health in your home, to educating them about your home in general, teaching your family about home ownership is a valuable lesson to learn especially when it becomes their turn to purchase their dream house. Today Jimmy and Lisa sit down with Realtor and Founder of “Teach Them to Fish”, Edward S. Lee and Loan Officer, Mitchel Marriner to hear how the duo is helping teach future home owners about investing in their first property.
Once you’ve found that dream home- now it’s time to actually buy it. As many homeowners know, however, buying a house is not as easy as trading a signature for keys; the process as a while is quite extensive. To help break down and understand that process, Real Estate Attorneys, Heidi Gilmore and Ed Tarlov with the ‘Baird, Mandalas, Brockstedt LLC‘ stopped by to DelmarvaLife today to talk “Real Estate 101”.
Once in the perfect home, maybe you’ll be in the mood to whip up a perfect dish. Joining us in the DelmarvaLife kitchen today is Yoga Instructor and Wellness Coach, Kelcie Mahr. Kelcie shows Jimmy and Lisa how to toss together a very easy and healthy vegan cheese dip, and it’s quick!

Finally- it’s hump day is here and to welcome the latter half of our week we kicked off our Wednesday with a little music from The Baptist Boys. Since 2005, The Baptist Boys have used singing as a way to share the gospel and the four singers definitely had a heavenly sound you have to hear to believe. Not only did their voices blow us away, but so did the list of amazing entertainers these gentlemen have opened for on tour. You’ve got to hear the full story, today at five.
But that’s not all- we also are giving away another prize in our “Summer Guide Giveaway”. One lucky viewer is walking away with a $50 gift card to Parker’s Produce and Seafood in Pittsville! There’s only one way to find out if that lucky winner is you, tune in today at five.
